Som præsident og ceo for Sony/ATV Tree, verdens største udgiver af countrymusik, er Donna Hilley en af de mest prominente kvinder indenfor countrymusikbranchen. Hilley kan tage æren for at have lavet kontrakter med bl.a. Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Jim reeves og Buck Owens ligesom hun har haft en finger med i spillet for Roger Miller, Brooks & Dunn og Travis Tritt.
